Career Pathways
- Alcohol and Drug Support Worker - As an entry role position an Alcohol and Drug (AOD) Support Worker specialises in providing person-centred care that identifies and responds to the needs of an individual who is experiencing substance abuse problems.
- Alcohol and Drug Case Worker - As a Case Worker you will be responsible for providing ongoing support in the areas of employment, training, housing, living requirements and the required social skills to ensure that your client's recovery gains are maintained.
- Alcohol and Drug Outreach Worker - As an Alcohol and Drug Outreach Worker you would be responsible for trying to reduce the harmful things that can be associated with drugs and alcohol and work towards the improvement of your client's health and wellbeing.
Entry Requirements
Prospective students are able to enrol on theCHC43215 Certificate IV in Alcohol and Other Drugs courseif they are 18 years or over and meet one of the following entry requirements:
- Year 12
- Certificate III or equilavent
