Syllabus
- Orientation & Module 1 | Integrating AI in Financial Planning
- You will become familiar with the course, your classmates, and our learning environment. The orientation will also help you obtain the technical skills required for the course. Then dive into the second part of this module to explore the background of Model Wealth, the roles of key team members, and their unique approach to financial planning. You'll dive into different compensation models in financial planning, like commission-based, AUM, and advice-only models. We'll also explore how fintech and AI tools can improve client experience and efficiency. By the end of this week, you'll have a solid understanding of how AI can be integrated into financial planning and why it's so important for the future of the industry.
- Module 2 | Innovative Financial Planning with AI & Advanced AI Tools
- In this module, we're diving deeper into the world of AI in financial planning. We'll address concerns about AI replacing jobs and highlight the irreplaceable value of human connection in the industry. You'll learn about the process of adopting fintech and AI tools, focusing on client experience and efficiency improvements. We'll also explore the impact of generative AI on the financial planning industry and understand AI as a thought partner rather than a replacement for human advisors.
- Module 3 | Ethical Considerations in Financial Planning & Course Conclusion
- In our final module, we're focusing on the ethical considerations of integrating AI into financial planning. You'll learn about the role of ethics in financial advisory, the impact of fintech on onboarding processes, and the importance of social-emotional skills in building client relationships. We'll evaluate the challenges and ethical considerations of implementing AI in financial services, ensuring AI tools are unbiased and prioritize the client's best interests. After this module, you'll be ready to complete the final assessment for the course and earn your Coursera certificate!
