  • Foundations of the Indian Banking System
    • This module introduces the structure of the Indian Financial System and explains the regulatory role of the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). It covers the evolution of banking in India, the need for financial regulation, monetary policy tools, and the classification and structure of banks operating within the Indian banking framework.
  • Commercial Banking Functions & Models
    • This module explores the operational framework of commercial banks, including their primary and secondary functions. It explains retail and wholesale banking models, universal banking concepts, international banking arrangements, and specialized deposit accounts such as NRE, NRO, and FCNR.
  • Lending & Trade Finance
    • This module focuses on lending operations within commercial banks, including retail loans, corporate term loans, working capital finance, factoring services, bank guarantees, and international trade finance instruments such as Letters of Credit and export-import finance.
  • International Accounts & Credit Management
    • This module examines correspondent banking relationships, including Nostro and Vostro accounts, methods of creating charges, types of mortgages, and the structured credit appraisal process based on the Six C’s of credit analysis.
