Financial Accounting (F3 Financial Accounting) is a required foundational course in the ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants) major, serving as an introductory course for other specialized courses. It is designed for undergraduate students majoring in ACCA and does not have any prerequisite course requirements. F3 Financial Accounting is one of the most important courses in the F stage of the ACCA curriculum.

This course is carefully crafted by a team of experienced teachers from well-known financial and economic institutions who are engaged in accounting teaching and research. It explains the basic theories and methods of financial accounting in an easy-to-understand language and with rich and vivid examples. It is suitable for students majoring in ACCA and other international accounting-related fields in colleges and universities at all levels.

The F3 course mainly includes eight parts: A. Explaining the content and purpose of financial reporting; B. Defining the characteristics of financial information; C. Using double-entry bookkeeping and accounting systems; D. Recording transactions and events; E. Preparing trial balances; F. Preparing basic financial statements; G. Interpreting financial statements.

In teaching, this course applies more economic or management thinking to help students understand the essence of economic transactions and the internal logic of accounting treatment.
