ABOUT THE COURSE:The proposed course deals with the contemporary issues of International Economics. It starts with basic theories to provide the foundations to understand the complex global trade scenario. Eventually the course then unfolds to discuss the future of trade amidst increasing uncertainty owing to Covid-19, BREXIT, rising geopolitical tensions, the threat of climate change, use of AI and digitalization, and global value chains. The mode of assessment will be computer based MCQ type exams and uploading of assignments.
