    • This module introduces the core structure of the income statement, explains the difference between fiscal and calendar years, and highlights how companies account for special items. Learners will also explore key revenue recognition methods and understand the role of depreciation in financial reporting.
  • Applying and Analyzing the Income Statement
    • This module focuses on applying theoretical knowledge to real-world company data. Learners will work with Colgate’s income statement, practice formatting for analysis, and investigate non-recurring charges to calculate adjusted margins and assess sustainable profitability.
  • Foundations of the Balance Sheet
    • This module introduces the fundamentals of the balance sheet, providing learners with an in-depth understanding of its structure and purpose. Students will explore current assets such as cash, receivables, and inventory, and learn how they influence financial reporting.
