Syllabus

  • The Role of Exercise in Health Span and Longevity
    • Discover how exercise, especially strength training, can be tailored to promote longevity and health at every life stage. Join experts as they explore age- and sex-specific approaches to fitness, recovery, and injury prevention, with insights into personalized training programs using the ACE Integrated Fitness Training® (ACE IFT®) Model.
  • Movement Made Simple: From Sitting to Strong in No Time!
    • Many people feel guilty for not meeting physical activity goals and seek a joyful, easy way to move. This session provides insights on creating effective exercise campaigns for sedentary populations.
  • Yoga: A Practice for Whole-Self Longevity & Wellness
    • This session will show how yoga supports longevity through its holistic approach, including asanas, breathwork, and mindfulness. We’ll cover its benefits for flexibility, balance, cardiovascular health, stress reduction, and cognitive function. Led by Kate Lombardo, E-RYT 500, co-director of YogaRenew.
  • Leveraging Wearables to Access and Improve Longevity
    • Smartwatches are advanced health tools, but many clients underutilize their health benefits and struggle to interpret the data. This session will help exercise professionals and health coaches understand various data markers, their associated health outcomes, and the lifestyle changes needed to improve these outcomes.
  • Pilates Mat Foundations: A Movement-Based Exploration of the Method
    • This session will teach you how to incorporate mat exercises into your personal training or group fitness sessions. Learn to enhance flexibility, posture, and core strength with Pilates, and discover how to integrate these principles into your programming.
