This specialization provides an in-depth, multi-dimensional understanding of women’s health through three integrated courses: pelvic floor function, movement for menopause, and hypermobility. Learners explore the anatomy, physiology, and movement patterns that influence women’s well-being across all life stages. Combining expert-led video tutorials, illustrated resources, and practical assignments, this program equips healthcare and fitness professionals with the tools to assess, guide, and support women holistically.
Syllabus
- Course 1: Integrated Pelvic Floor Health and Function
- Course 2: Movement Strategies for Menopause Health
- Course 3: Clinical Approaches to Assessing & Managing Hypermobility
Courses

Joint flexibility can be an asset, but when mobility becomes excessive, it may lead to pain, instability, fatigue, recurring injuries, and movement patterns that are difficult to control. By the end of this course, learners will understand how to recognize hypermobility, differentiate common hypermobility-related conditions, and apply safer strategies to support joint control, strength, and long-term function. Presented by Dr. Linda Bluestein, MD, an expert in connective tissue disorders, this course explains the differences between generalized joint hypermobility, hypermobility spectrum disorders, Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes, and related conditions. Learners explore the biomechanical, genetic, and systemic factors that can contribute to hypermobility and why symptoms often extend beyond “being flexible.” Through practical modules, learners are introduced to assessment tools such as the Beighton Score, along with stabilization, strengthening, proprioception, and movement-based strategies for athletes, active individuals, and general clients. Healthcare and fitness professionals will gain clearer clinical reasoning for working with hypermobile clients, while non-clinical learners will better understand how hypermobility affects the body. This course offers a safer, more informed approach to managing pain, instability, and performance.

Pelvic floor health affects far more than one area of the body. It can influence posture, breathing, core stability, movement control, comfort, confidence, and overall quality of life. By the end of this course, learners will understand how the pelvic floor functions within a whole-body system and how safe, evidence-informed strategies can support pelvic health. Led by physiotherapist and women’s health expert Sonja Forster, this course explains pelvic floor anatomy, muscle coordination, breathing mechanics, posture, and the relationship between the pelvis, spine, hips, and core. Learners explore how pelvic floor dysfunctions can affect movement, stability, and daily function. Through detailed video lessons, illustrated materials, and real-world examples, learners study common pelvic health concerns, movement patterns, clinical reasoning, breath-based strategies, awareness techniques, and supportive exercise approaches. Healthcare, fitness, rehabilitation, and wellness professionals will gain practical tools for working with pelvic health considerations, while general learners will better understand why the pelvic floor matters. This course offers an integrated approach to supporting function, stability, comfort, and long-term well-being.

Menopause can affect far more than hormones. Changes in bone density, muscle strength, connective tissue, balance, pain sensitivity, mood, and energy can influence how a person moves, exercises, and feels in daily life. By the end of this course, learners will understand how movement, Pilates, and lifestyle strategies can support strength, stability, comfort, confidence, and long-term health during menopause. Under the guidance of physiotherapist Phillipa Butler, this course explains how hormonal changes may affect the musculoskeletal system, including bones, muscles, joints, and connective tissue. Learners explore why exercise and targeted movement can play an important role in reducing symptoms, managing risk, and supporting quality of life. Through step-by-step demonstrations and practical assignments, learners study movement programming, Pilates-based strategies, stability work, pain reduction concepts, and safe exercise progressions. Healthcare, fitness, Pilates, and wellness professionals will gain practical tools for supporting women through menopause, while general learners will better understand how movement can help during this transition. This course offers an informed, accessible approach to building strength, resilience, and confidence.
