I found this course extremely valuable because it helped me think more strategically about business growth opportunities instead of simply focusing on expansion for the sake of growth. The exercises encouraged me to evaluate whether an opportunity truly aligns with existing strengths, customer needs, profitability, and long-term goals.

One of the biggest takeaways for me was understanding the importance of building on competencies already present within the business. It made me realize that sustainable growth is often connected to leveraging existing expertise, reputation, and customer trust rather than constantly moving into completely unfamiliar markets.

The exercises also helped me refine and clarify my Opportunity Statement. Writing it out forced me to think more clearly about the customer pain point being solved, the value being offered, and why the opportunity is feasible. As a result, I became more focused on opportunities that are scalable, realistic, and aligned with both business objectives and personal motivation.

Overall, this process made me more analytical and intentional about evaluating growth opportunities and helped strengthen my approach to strategic planning.
