The course also covers AppleTV management, beta software workflows using AppleSeed for IT, and using evaluation utilities for performance assessments. Prior experience with MDM platforms and Apple ecosystem tools is strongly recommended. Syllabus

Managing Apple Device Security with Mosyle Fuse

In this module, we will focus on managing the security of Apple devices using Mosyle Fuse. You will learn how to harden and enforce compliance across iOS, iPadOS, and macOS devices, as well as leverage Mosyle’s malware detection and removal capabilities. Additionally, we will explore how to configure temporary admin privileges to maintain security without compromising user efficiency.

Managing Apple Intelligence

In this module, we will explore Apple’s on-device intelligence features and their impact on device management. You will learn how to manage these features using local settings and Mobile Device Management (MDM) for iPhones, iPads, and Macs. We will provide hands-on demonstrations for both iOS and macOS devices.

Managing Mac Software Applications (Revisited)

In this module, we revisit the management of macOS software applications using advanced tools like Deploy Pro and Software Center. Learn how to integrate these tools with Mosyle MDM, deploy software efficiently, and generate reports to track application statuses across your managed devices.

AppleTV Device Management with Mosyle MDM

In this module, we will guide you through the process of managing AppleTV devices using Mosyle MDM. You will learn how to add AppleTVs to MDM, automate their deployment, and efficiently manage settings and updates. Additionally, we will demonstrate how to control AppleTV device behavior to ensure seamless integration within your organization.

AppleSeed for IT

In this module, we will introduce you to AppleSeed for IT, a program that allows IT professionals to test pre-release software. You will learn how to enable AppleSeed access for managed Apple accounts, deploy beta software across test devices, and create effective testing plans. Additionally, we’ll guide you on using the Feedback Assistant to provide valuable insights to Apple, helping improve future software versions.

Mac Evaluation Utility

In this module, we will explore the Mac Evaluation Utility and its role in advanced Apple platform security and management. We will walk through how to generate a full evaluation report and understand the key metrics it provides. By the end, you’ll be equipped to use these reports to enhance organizational security and device oversight.
