You’ll also gain an understanding of Azure Storage services, storage redundancy, and encryption. Finally, you’ll explore Microsoft Entra ID and its role in identity and access management. Through demonstrations and practical examples, you’ll learn how Azure services support scalable, secure, and highly available cloud environments. - In this section, you'll build a strong foundation in cloud computing and understand how cloud technologies are transforming the way organizations deliver and manage IT resources. You'll begin by exploring what the course covers and who can benefit from it, followed by an introduction to the core concepts of cloud computing. As you progress, you'll explore different cloud computing models and understand how organizations can choose the right approach based on their business and technology requirements. You'll also compare traditional on-premises infrastructure with cloud computing to understand the differences in scalability, flexibility, cost, management, and resource availability. By the end of this section, you'll have a clear understanding of cloud computing fundamentals and deployment approaches, enabling you to recognize the benefits of cloud adoption and make informed decisions when evaluating cloud and on-premises environments.
Getting Started with Microsoft Azure

Azure Compute Fundamentals

You'll begin by exploring Azure Virtual Machines and gain an understanding of their capabilities, configurations, and common use cases for running applications in the cloud. As you progress, you'll learn how to create Azure Virtual Machines and explore Availability Sets and Availability Zones to understand how Azure helps improve application availability and resilience. You'll also discover Azure Virtual Machine Scale Sets (VMSS) and how they enable automatic scaling and management of multiple virtual machine instances. Through guided demonstrations, you'll gain practical experience creating and configuring Virtual Machine Scale Sets and understand how they can support scalable and highly available applications. Azure Storage and Microsoft Entra Identity Services
