By the end of the course, you’ll be able to navigate Azure, provision and manage core infrastructure, configure resilient storage and networking, connect on-premises networks to Azure, and deploy scalable web applications. Syllabus

Introduction to Cloud and Microsoft Azure
- This module provides learners with a comprehensive foundation in cloud computing concepts and introduces Microsoft Azure as a leading cloud platform. It covers essential cloud principles, explores service and deployment models, and delves into the origin and evolution of cloud technologies. Learners are then guided through the core architecture of Microsoft Azure and are equipped with the knowledge to set up their own Azure account, preparing them for practical usage in later modules.
Azure Portals, Accounts, and CLI Tools
- This module introduces learners to the practical tools and interfaces used to interact with Microsoft Azure, including the ARM and ASM portals. It explains how enterprise accounts and subscriptions are structured and managed in Azure, and provides hands-on exposure to essential tools like Azure CLI and PowerShell. By the end of this module, learners will understand how to install, configure, and begin using various command-line interfaces to manage Azure resources effectively.
Azure Virtual Machines
- This module introduces learners to Azure Virtual Machines (VMs) as a core Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) offering within Microsoft Azure. It covers the fundamentals of VM creation, status management, billing, sizing, and architecture, including both Classic and ARM models. Learners also explore deployment options, pricing tiers, and the complete process of creating and connecting to both Windows and Linux virtual machines through the Azure Portal and command-line interfaces. By the end of this module, learners will be equipped to deploy, configure, and access VMs efficiently within Azure's cloud environment.
VM Disks and High Availability
- This module focuses on configuring and managing virtual storage and network infrastructure within Microsoft Azure. Learners will gain hands-on understanding of disk types, attaching and managing disks for Windows and Linux VMs, and ensuring high availability using Availability Sets. It also covers Azure Virtual Network components including subnets, address spaces, and network security groups. Azure Networking Essentials
- This module introduces learners to the core components of Azure’s web and networking infrastructure. Azure Storage and Web Services
- This final module brings together the core concepts of Azure services by focusing on two key areas: storage and web app deployment. Learners will explore the spectrum of Azure Storage options—ranging from Blob, Table, Queue, Disk, and File Storage—understanding their use cases and operational behavior. The module also demonstrates practical steps in provisioning and managing these services. In the concluding lesson, learners are introduced to Azure Web Apps, including deployment, scaling, and job automation, reinforcing real-world application development within the Azure ecosystem.
