In this course, you will continue building foundational English through case-based units about occupations and holidays. You will practice vocabulary for work and holiday contexts, complete listening and reading investigations, and answer comprehension questions about the case materials. Grammar practice includes sentences with can, possessive adjectives, and target grammar used with holiday vocabulary. Speaking and writing evidence tasks give you opportunities to apply the language from each unit in context. Each unit also includes vocabulary practice, grammar practice, a quiz, an exit ticket, and closing activities that help you review key skills. By the end of the course, you will have practiced English for describing occupations, using possessive language, talking about ability with can, and communicating about holidays through listening, reading, speaking, writing, vocabulary, and grammar practice.
