English for Paragraph Writing

In this course, you develop intermediate English paragraph writing and communication skills through the themes of communication and health. You build vocabulary and expressions for everyday situations, practice reading and listening strategies, and write simple sentences and short responses with appropriate structure and vocabulary. You also study adjective clauses, topic sentences, health and wellness vocabulary, supporting sentences, and complex comparisons. Activities include unit overviews, warm-ups, dictionary skills, vocabulary work, readings, reading outlines, reading comprehension, listening and listening comprehension, guided discovery, grammar guides, language practice, writing and speaking practice, final challenges, and final products. By the end, you will have practiced organizing ideas, expressing information clearly, and using grammar and vocabulary to communicate in everyday and health-related contexts.
