  • Ethical and Inclusive Digital Research
    • This module explores the ethical considerations associated with digital research methods and the unique challenges they present. You will examine issues such as privacy, consent, data management, and inclusion in digital environments, and learn practical strategies for protecting research participants and accessing, handling, and storing data responsibly and ethically.
  • Getting the Most Out of Digital Methods
    • This module explores practical ways to use digital methods for data collection in research. Focusing on interviews and focus groups, questionnaires, social media, and the internet as a data source, you will learn how digital platforms and networks can support research and discover a range of techniques for collecting data effectively in online environments.
  • Tools to Support Effective Digital Research
    • This module introduces the software, applications, and digital tools that support digital research. You will learn how to evaluate tools for data collection and analysis, understand the role of hardware in digital research, and develop the skills needed to identify, assess, and select technologies that best meet the needs of your research project.
  • Digital Skills for Effective Research
    • This module focuses on the skills, tools, and reflection needed to use digital research methods effectively. You will assess and develop your digital competencies, identify resources to support your ongoing skills development, and create a research plan that integrates digital methods in a purposeful and effective way.
