    • Welcome to Empowering Transformations! Throughout this course, Empowering Transformations, you’ll help the team at Berry Road Bistro master the essential ingredients of change management. These include navigating complex systems, adapting structures and policies, and adding a dash of agility to its culture. In this first module, Understanding Change Management, you’ll begin your journey as Berry Road’s agile expert, helping them plan for a huge shift in their business and technology approach. You'll show them how to map the current and future states of the restaurant, navigate common obstacles, and define what success looks like for their regional restaurant chain. Let's get started!
  • Holistic and Systemic Change
    • Welcome to Holistic and Systemic Change where you’ll assist Berry Road Bistro, a chain restaurant focused on healthy eating, as it undergoes an agile change and shift towards a modernized technology and business approach. Empowering agile transformation requires holistic and systemic coaching, and the Berry Road organization is looking to you for coaching help. Every organization is different, so there is no one-size-fits-all recipe to follow. Put on your chef’s hat and get ready to cook—it’s time to make a transformation!
  • Importance of Culture on Agile Transformation
    • As you embark on an agile transformation, it’s imperative to keep culture in mind. Culture isn't just a feeling or a vibe; it's something you can actually see in action: the way people interact, the decisions they make, and the policies that are in place. In this module, you’ll continue your agile coaching experience with Berry Road Bistro. You’ll meet with several employees to identify the mindsets, structure, practices, and historical events that make up the organization’s culture. You’ll also learn how all these elements interact to shape the overall organizational environment and how you can transform the organization to be more agile.
  • Structure and Policies for Agility
    • Welcome to Structure and Policies for Agility where you’ll work with Berry Road Bistro’s leadership team to help it through a business and technology modernization effort to remain competitive. The modernization effort goes beyond implementing a new point-of-sales system. It requires a holistic shift, requiring changes in departments such as HR and Finance as well as potential changes in how teams are structured. Berry Road Bistro is seeking guidance from you to help it understand agile ways of working to compete and succeed in the ever-changing restaurant industry.
  • Practices for Complexity
    • Welcome to Practices for Complexity! Berry Road Bistro continues its transformation, modernizing its point-of-sale (POS) system and business practices utilizing agile ways of working. Sound complex? Well, it is! That’s why in this module you’ll explore several practices for complexity. That includes inspecting and adapting your approach to crafting your own agile solutions, shifting your leadership style, and nurturing a vibrant sense of community. And you’ll do it all while cooking dinner for your friends!
  • Coaching for Sustainability
    • Welcome to Coaching for Sustainability. You’ve already supported Berry Road Bistro in a range of ways as it aims to integrate its new point of sale system. Now, we’ll shift our focus to long-term sustainability so you can use agile strategies to ensure Berry Road Bistro thrives in its transformation. Our aim is to embed agile principles into Berry Road Bistro's operations, even after your time with the business ends. We'll work on fostering internal competence, empowering ownership, and establishing communities of practice for continuous improvement. By the end, you'll feel confident that Berry Road Bistro can adapt and innovate independently.

    • Welcome to the Case Study where you’ll test out the skills you learned at Berry Road Bistro and apply them to a new organization, a local craft brewery. Although this organization may be in a different industry, the skills you learned will be critical as you embark on your next adventure!
