This course, 'FLN: Learning to Read, ' is the second in our FLN series, which aims to comprehensively cover all the basic skills essential for reading, writing, and numeracy. Learning to read serves as a gateway for children to understand the world around them. It empowers them to make sense of the textual information they encounter and provides the tools to interpret, question, and learn from it. This course aims to equip learners with the knowledge and resources necessary to create multisensory learning experiences for young children through enjoyable activities that foster the foundational competencies required for success. It aligns with the relevant Curricular Goals, Competencies, and Learning Outcomes appropriate for the children's age group, as outlined in the National Curriculum Framework (NCF) for the Foundational Stage (2022).
