This Specialization offers a structured pathway through the foundations, practice, and global dimensions of educational leadership and management. The first course introduces major leadership models, instructional leadership, ethical decision-making, shared leadership, and the principles of leadership excellence, providing the conceptual foundation for effective leadership in educational settings.
The second course focuses on applying these principles to educational organizations through professional learning, staff leadership, performance management, resource management, leadership development, and organizational culture. It also examines gender, diversity, inclusion, race, ethnicity, and stakeholder engagement to support equitable and effective leadership.
The final course explores leadership in diverse and complex educational contexts, examining the influence of globalization, culture, challenging school environments, developing countries, and post-conflict settings. Together, the three courses develop a comprehensive understanding of educational leadership and management, equipping learners to analyze leadership challenges, evaluate management practices, and apply evidence-informed strategies across a wide range of educational environments.
