You will strengthen your ability to lead difficult conversations, apply structured feedback practices, and negotiate constructively in complex environments. The course includes a portfolio project that consolidates interpersonal leadership capabilities into a reusable leadership playbook. By the end of this course, you will be able to deliver clear, growth-oriented feedback, manage conflict and negotiation constructively, apply emotional intelligence in high-stakes leadership conversations, and influence outcomes while maintaining trust and collaboration. This course completes the leadership capability arc of the Microsoft Leadership and Innovation Professional Certificate.

Leading with Foresight & Impact develops the foundational leadership capabilities expected of Microsoft leaders. Leaders must apply a growth mindset to decision-making, maintain disciplined focus on customer and organizational outcomes, and translate strategic intent into effective execution. This course strengthens values-based decision-making grounded in Microsoft’s leadership ethos—growth mindset, customer impact, One Microsoft collaboration, and accountability for outcomes. You will examine how to prioritize competing demands, evaluate leadership behaviors, and intervene when execution drifts from intent. Rather than focusing on theory, the course emphasizes observable leadership practice. Through realistic scenarios, you will apply prioritization frameworks, align strategy to roadmap, and assess whether outcomes reflect stated values. By the end of this course, you will be able to demonstrate leadership discipline in action—making trade-offs visible, maintaining strategic alignment, and reinforcing accountability in complex organizational contexts.
-
Practical AI Use in Leadership prepares you to use Microsoft Copilot as a decision support capability while retaining judgment and accountability. Leaders are expected to expand insight responsibly without outsourcing critical thinking. You will practice framing open-ended leadership decisions, interpreting Copilot-generated insights, and evaluating ethical, feasibility, and reputational risks. The course follows the leadership decision lifecycle: frame → interpret → judge → learn. AI is positioned as a capability amplifier—not a substitute for responsibility. You will assess assumptions, articulate trade-offs, and evaluate outcomes in alignment with Microsoft Responsible AI principles. By the end of this course, you will be able to integrate AI-supported insight into leadership workflows responsibly, support structured decision-making, and demonstrate ownership of outcomes in AI-supported environments.

Turning Ideas into Sustainable Results focuses on turning strategic ideas and decisions into sustained results within complex organizations like Microsoft. Ideas alone are insufficient—leaders must improve processes, drive change adoption, and sustain momentum beyond initial implementation. This course strengthens your ability to evaluate improvement opportunities, analyze pilots, guide structured change adoption, and reinforce operational discipline. You will explore disciplined approaches to process optimization, measurement design, and impact tracking using Microsoft’s growth mindset, accountability culture, and collaborative ways of working. Emphasis is placed on sustaining momentum through visibility, alignment, and learning. By the end of this course, you will be able to move initiatives from concept to sustainable execution, reinforce adoption, and ensure measurable impact over time.
