Your skills in coaching, people analytics, and AI-enhanced program design are more valuable than you may realize — but only if you can communicate them clearly. This course helps you translate your program work into a compelling career strategy, whether you are pursuing a new role or advancing within your current organization. You'll explore five career pathways where people development skills are in high demand: People Manager, HR Business Partner, Talent Development Manager, Organizational Development Consultant, and People Analytics Lead. For each pathway, you'll learn what employers are looking for and how your program experience maps directly to their requirements. You'll build a professional portfolio by selecting your strongest program artifacts — coaching roadmaps, analytics dashboards, culture transformation strategies, feedback systems, and mentor matching matrices — and framing each one around the business problem it solved and the impact it produced. You'll learn to quantify outcomes, lead with business value, and present your work in a way that resonates with hiring managers and senior leaders. The course prepares you for the conversations that matter most: networking events, behavioral interviews, and internal advancement discussions. You'll practice the STAR method across four realistic scenarios — including how to handle "How do you use AI in your HR work?" with confidence and nuance. The course concludes with a 90-day career action plan that turns your goals into specific, time-bound steps. Who this is for: Professionals in coaching, HR, talent development, or people analytics who want to position their program work for career advancement. You should have completed the majority of program modules and have at least two or three portfolio artifacts ready to develop or refine.

Coaching & Mentoring Practice gives leaders, HR professionals, and talent development specialists the frameworks and tools to develop others systematically—and prove it with data. You'll implement the GROW coaching framework, building roadmaps in Microsoft Planner, conducting structured 1-on-1s, and measuring impact using Viva Insights. You'll design and launch a peer-mentoring network using 15Five Strengths data for automated matching and SharePoint for guidance materials. You'll adapt your coaching stance to employee readiness using CLEAR and Situational Coaching decision matrices. And you'll close the loop with people analytics—combining Viva, HRIS, and 15Five data to build Power BI dashboards that show correlations between coaching investment and performance outcomes, including regression analysis to identify which coaching variables drive the most engagement improvement. Every skill is grounded in realistic scenarios and Microsoft tools. A portfolio project brings your work together into a coaching and engagement strategy you can present to leadership.
-
Engagement & Feedback Optimization equips managers, HR business partners, and people operations professionals with the tools to monitor, analyze, and improve team health using data. You'll analyze Microsoft Viva Insights engagement dashboards to identify burnout drivers—after-hours work spikes, meeting overload, declining 1-on-1 frequency—and create structured action plans with measurable targets and quarterly pulse survey tracking. You'll build a multi-source feedback system that aggregates data from 15Five, Teams, and Cultivate into unified Power BI dashboards, giving you a complete view of manager feedback patterns. And you'll configure custom Viva Insights queries to answer specific organizational questions, export results to Power BI for business unit segmentation, and evaluate workplace pilots—like "meeting-free Wednesday"—using rigorous pre/post analysis. A portfolio project at the end of the course integrates all three skill areas into a data-informed engagement strategy ready for executive review.
-
Performance & Culture Alignment helps leaders, HR professionals, and organizational development practitioners connect individual goals to organizational strategy—and turn culture aspirations into measurable, trackable roadmaps. You'll facilitate quarterly OKR-setting workshops using Microsoft Copilot in Whiteboard and Planner, guiding teams from brainstorming to committed, measurable objectives. You'll design a three-pillar culture transformation roadmap in Visio, informed by Viva Insights sentiment analytics, with milestones, owners, and a framework for measuring progress by triangulating turnover, engagement, and inclusion metrics. And you'll create an empowerment playbook that defines clear decision rights, guardrails, and escalation paths for your team—reducing bottlenecks while maintaining appropriate oversight—then use Cultivate sentiment data to evaluate empowerment levels and coach managers on delegation. Throughout the course, you'll work with Microsoft tools including Teams, Whiteboard, Planner, Copilot, Visio, SharePoint, and Forms. Scenario-based activities provide realistic practice for all three skill areas. Who this is for: Leaders driving strategic alignment, culture initiatives, or delegation practices. Ideal if you're responsible for team OKRs, organizational change, or leadership development.
