You'll implement the GROW coaching framework, building roadmaps in Microsoft Planner, conducting structured 1-on-1s, and measuring impact using Viva Insights. You'll design and launch a peer-mentoring network using 15Five Strengths data for automated matching and SharePoint for guidance materials. You'll adapt your coaching stance to employee readiness using CLEAR and Situational Coaching decision matrices. And you'll close the loop with people analytics—combining Viva, HRIS, and 15Five data to build Power BI dashboards that show correlations between coaching investment and performance outcomes, including regression analysis to identify which coaching variables drive the most engagement improvement. Every skill is grounded in realistic scenarios and Microsoft tools. A portfolio project brings your work together into a coaching and engagement strategy you can present to leadership.

Syllabus

GROW Coaching: Implement Coaching Program with GROW

Learn the GROW framework (Goal, Reality, Options, Will) and apply it to build a coaching roadmap that aligns individual development with organizational priorities. You will schedule structured 1-on-1s and track progress using Microsoft tools.

GROW Coaching: Evaluate Coaching Effectiveness

Learn to measure coaching program impact using Viva Insights metrics. You'll export engagement and productivity data, calculate meaningful changes, and present a one-page impact summary to leadership.

Mentor Networks: Design and Launch Peer-Mentoring Network

Using Excel and Sharepoint, learn to design a scalable peer-mentoring program using strengths-based matching. You'll leverage 15Five data to pair mentors and mentees strategically, create a Mentor Starter Kit, and host a virtual kick-off to launch the network.

Mentor Networks: Analyse Check-in Themes and Recommend Resources

Learn to extract insights from mentoring conversations at scale. You'll use Copilot to analyze check-in transcripts, identify recurring development themes across pairs, and recommend targeted learning resources to HR L and D.

Situational Coaching: Create Decision Matrix

Learn the CLEAR coaching model and Situational Leadership principles to adapt your coaching stance based on employee readiness. You'll create a practical decision matrix in PowerPoint and facilitate a lunch-and-learn to train your team.

Situational Coaching: Analyze Sessions for Stance Alignment

Learn to evaluate coaching effectiveness by analyzing recorded sessions with AI assistance. You'll use Copilot to assess stance alignment, score coaching conversations, and deliver targeted improvement feedback to managers.

People Analytics: Build Coaching-Performance Dashboard

Learn to combine multiple HR data sources into a unified people analytics dashboard. You'll merge Viva Insights, HRIS, and 15Five data to create visualizations that reveal relationships between coaching investment and performance outcomes.

People Analytics: Analyze Regression for Coaching Optimization

Learn to use regression analysis to identify which coaching variables most strongly predict engagement improvements. You'll run regression in Excel or Power BI, interpret outputs to find significant predictors, and present optimization recommendations to HR leadership.

Project Module: Coaching Foundations

Apply your coaching frameworks and engagement analysis skills practically by designing a comprehensive people development plan for a realistic team scenario. You'll integrate GROW coaching, mentor network design, and situational coaching approaches to create a portfolio-ready deliverable that demonstrates your ability to develop talent systematically with data-driven insights.
