Syllabus

  • Analyzing Turnover and Designing Retention Strategies
    • When top performers suddenly leave, you scramble to redistribute work, morale drops, and the organization faces hidden costs. In this module, you will explore the root causes of turnover, key motivation theories, data segmentation, and total rewards frameworks. By the end, you will be able to spot early warning signals and design targeted strategies to keep employees engaged.
  • Retention, Engagement, and Inclusive Workplace Practices
    • Retention works best when you connect data, strategy, and culture. In this module, you’ll examine how HR metrics, targeted retention plans, DEIB concepts, and barriers to inclusion shape employee experience and organizational outcomes. By the end, you’ll be able to evaluate retention efforts, design more focused strategies, and identify practices that support engagement, belonging, and long-term employee retention.
  • Evaluating HR Policies and Designing Inclusive Initiatives
    • Even well-intentioned HR policies can unintentionally create unequal outcomes for employees. In this module, you will explore how to conduct equity audits, design inclusive team initiatives, navigate federal and state employment laws, and measure diversity and inclusion effectiveness. By the end, you will be able to evaluate your organization’s practices and build compliant, data-informed strategies that truly foster sustainable workplace inclusion.
  • Applying Retention and Inclusion Strategies
    • This final module brings together the course concepts so you can apply them in realistic HR decisions. You’ll connect turnover drivers, motivation, engagement, total rewards, retention planning, DEIB, inclusion barriers, policy evaluation, legal compliance, and initiative measurement. By the end, you’ll be prepared to make informed, practical decisions that support retention, inclusion, fairness, and organizational effectiveness.
