Syllabus

Foundations of Scrum
- Your organization is moving toward Agile, and the gap between knowing Scrum exists and being able to use it correctly is where most transitions stall. In this module, you'll build a working grasp of why Agile emerged, how Scrum's roles, events, and artifacts fit together, and how the framework's pillars and values translate into day-to-day team behavior so you can start applying Scrum with confidence.
The Scrum Team
- Your team's success as a Scrum Team rests less on following a checklist and more on how clearly you see your roles and support each other. In this module, you'll identify the defining characteristics of a strong Scrum Team and pinpoint what makes an effective Product Owner, Developer, and Scrum Master so you can build real accountability.
Scrum Events
- Your Sprint can easily fill up with unstructured meetings that are just as unproductive as no meetings at all. In this module, you'll structure a purposeful Sprint Planning session, run a focused Daily Scrum, organize a Sprint Review that builds stakeholder trust, and facilitate a Retrospective that turns reflection into real improvement, so your team's rhythm works for them instead of against them.
Scrum Artifacts: Backlogs
- If your Product Backlog is just a long, unordered list of requests, it creates more confusion than clarity. In this module, you'll structure a Product Backlog that stays emergent and ordered, build a Sprint Backlog that gives your team a clear plan for the Sprint ahead, and keep both backlogs healthy through ongoing refinement, so your team always knows what to build next and why.
Scrum Artifacts: Increments and Goals
- Finishing a piece of work means little if you and your team can't agree on what "finished" actually means. In this module, you'll build Increments that are additive and immediately usable, apply a shared Definition of Done that holds quality steady, and use the Product Goal and Sprint Goal to keep your team's work coherent from one Sprint to the next.
