To round out your data-analysis skills in project management, you'll communicate during a project, manage stakeholder relationships and expectations, and report on project performance. You'll also perform sprint reviews and retrospectives and coordinate releases and deployment planning. Finally, you'll deliver the final product, close project procurements, and then close the project. This is the fifth and final course in a multi-course Specialization. All of the courses in this Specialization require that you have a recent version of Microsoft Word and Excel installed in order to open the course data files. The course setup instructions provided in the first course go into more detail about the hardware and software requirements.

Syllabus

  • Communicating and Reporting
    • Now that the project is underway, it is critical to keep stakeholders informed of the project progress on a regular basis. This is true for both Predictive and Adaptive projects. A lack of communication may disrupt project progress and even lead to a decrease in team productivity. In order to avoid such issues, disseminating project information to stakeholders should be a continuous process. In this lesson, you will communicate, distribute, and manage project information as well as report to your stakeholders.
  • Closing an Adaptive Project
    • When finishing an Adaptive project, the closing process involves closing the Sprint, closing the Release, and closing the project. In each of these closure activities, you are verifying that the deliverable provides benefit to the customer. As you conclude the Adaptive project, the team will participate in a Sprint Retrospective, which enables the team to discuss the team's performance and things they might want to change in future projects. In this lesson, you will close an Adaptive project.
  • Closing a Predictive Project
    • You successfully completed the last project deliverable and approved the last invoice for payment. You are almost done! But first, you must properly close out the project. In this lesson, you will perform the project closure for your Predictive project.
  • Completing the Course
    • You'll wrap things up and then validate what you've learned in this course by taking an assessment.
