Syllabus

Get started with Microsoft Teams

In this module, we will explore the essential setup and initial configuration of Microsoft Teams. You'll learn how to assess your network, plan deployments, and apply media optimizations. We’ll also dive into managing Office 365 Groups and policies that govern Teams behavior across platforms.

Manage a team

In this module, we will cover how to effectively manage teams within Microsoft Teams. You’ll learn to create new teams, configure settings, and maintain administrative control over team structures. This includes upgrading legacy resources and managing org-wide teams efficiently.

Manage membership in a team

In this module, we will focus on managing user membership in Microsoft Teams. You’ll explore manual and dynamic methods of adding users and controlling access. We'll also cover periodic access reviews to maintain secure and accurate team composition.

Configure and manage guest access

In this module, we will learn how to securely configure and manage guest access in Microsoft Teams. Topics include enabling access in Azure AD, Office 365 Groups, and SharePoint. We’ll also examine how guests join a team and how to control access with PowerShell and Azure AD reviews.
