Design advanced Unity editor interfaces that make level-building, asset handling, and Inspector workflows more efficient. You’ll begin with editor scripting concepts such as Gizmos, grid snapping, and test levels, then progress to custom inspectors, property and decorator drawers, palettes, GUI skins, and editor modes. Through hands-on Unity projects, you’ll integrate palettes with custom inspectors, respond to editor events, and use drawing modes to create responsive level and object-management tools. You’ll apply the Handles class to build interactive Scene-view controls and use GUI styles, tab styles, and skins to create consistent, usable interfaces. You’ll also develop reusable level settings and supporting classes, construct DLL libraries, and create texture importer tools that modularize editor functionality and standardize asset handling. Designed for beginners progressing into advanced Unity editor scripting, this course connects each concept to a practical editor scenario. By the end, you’ll be able to design reusable editor tools, streamline level-development workflows, manage assets more consistently, and customize Unity for creative and production needs. Its project-based progression from foundational controls to modular tools makes it ideal for learners who want practical results they can apply directly to Unity projects.
