This Aerial Work Platform (AWP) and aerial lift training course provides thorough instruction on the safe and effective use of aerial lift equipment in workplace environments. The course is designed to maximize safety for AWP operators and for all other personnel working in the vicinity of aerial lifts.
An aerial lift is any vehicle-mounted device used to elevate workers to elevated work positions. This category includes aerial ladders, extendable boom platforms, articulating boom platforms, and vertical towers. Improper use of these machines results in significant worker injuries and fatalities every year. Completing this training helps operators minimize those risks and prepares them to work safely and confidently at height.
CEU Requirements:
- 100% attendance for the Aerial Work Platform and aerial lift training course
- Completion of the Continuing Education and Training Registration Form
- Active participation in all class exercises as determined by the course instructor
- Completion of required pre- and post-quiz assessments
- Achievement of the minimum passing score on the required end-of-course examination, where applicable
- Submission of the end-of-course evaluation form with your name in order to receive credit
