Local Law 196 of 2017 established new training requirements for construction workers and supervisors working on NYC job sites. Workers are required to complete a total of 40 hours of approved training in order to qualify for a Site Safety Training (SST) Card. The most efficient way to fulfill this requirement is to complete a 30 Hour OSHA construction training program, an 8 Hour Fall Prevention course (online), and a 2 Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness course (online).
Note: This package includes 2 online classes. When combined with your OSHA 30, they will qualify you for your Full Worker SST card. You may begin your online training immediately after registration by clicking "View Details."
The 10 Hour NYC DOB SST training package bundles the 8 Hour Fall Prevention Awareness course and the 2 Hour Drug and Alcohol Awareness course at a discounted combined rate. Both courses may also be applied toward a Supervisor SST card.
