Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) Health Preservation and Dietetics is a top-tier online course at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Primarily designed for full-time undergraduate nursing students, it is also suitable for health management majors and TCM clinical nurses for self-directed learning. The course emphasizes the holistic and syndrome-differentiation principles of TCM, guided by TCM theory, and integrates classical Chinese philosophical thought with TCM perspectives on life, health, disease, and medical practice to promote health maintenance, longevity, disease prevention, and recovery.
The course is divided into two parts:
1. TCM Health Preservation and Nursing: Deepens learners' understanding of TCM theory and enables them to apply health preservation knowledge flexibly in clinical nursing practice.
2. TCM Dietetics and Nursing: Focuses on inheriting and innovating TCM dietary therapy, exploring classical dietary remedies from ancient texts, and expanding the application of medicinal cuisine to provide uniquely TCM-guided dietary care, further enriching the scope of TCM nursing.
