To implement the strategic deployment of "promoting educational digitalization and building a learning society and a learning-oriented country for all-life learning," and under the new era background of the comprehensive acceleration of "Digital China" construction, the course "Operation and Maintenance of Automated Production Lines" is constructed. This course can serve as a core course for automation-related majors in vocational education, and also meet the needs of engineering technicians, training institutions during enterprise digital transformation, as well as learning resources for social personnel to enhance relevant skills. It aims to cultivate high-quality skilled talents engaged in the operation, maintenance, installation, debugging, and management of automated production lines, with capabilities of autonomous learning, inquiry-based learning, lifelong learning, and sustainable development.

This course follows the requirements of the "Vocational Education Professional Teaching Standards (2025 Revision)" and is jointly developed by schools and enterprises. Guided by the action-oriented concept based on work processes, it collaborates with enterprise experts and technical masters to design learning scenarios, ensuring that course contents closely align with actual work needs. The course precisely targets the requirements of job competencies, curriculum integration, skill competitions, and vocational certificates, carrying out systematic reform of teaching contents based on work processes. According to learning and teaching laws, it refines 7 scenario projects and 35 work tasks from simple to complex, and from single to comprehensive. Teaching activities are organized through project-based instruction.

This course has the following features:

1.Industry-Education Integration and Ideological and Political Education. Combining school-enterprise cooperation and skill competition requirements, ideological and political education is integrated into project-based task teaching, focusing on improving professional ethics and sustainable development capabilities.

2.Abundant Digital Resources and Smart Teaching
Supporting provincial online quality courses, inter-selective courses for professional clusters, and bilingual resources for vocational education overseas, it enables online-offline blended teaching and constructs smart classrooms.

3.Localized Practice of Dual System. Taking project tasks as carriers and homework questions as grips, centered on students, it uses action-oriented teaching methods to promote autonomous learning and enhance learning and skill capabilities. It cultivates students' comprehensive vocational abilities, assists them in achieving self-managed learning, and lays a solid foundation for their sustainable development.

4.Serving the "Belt and Road" and Vocational Education Outreach. Relying on the international project "Jingshi School," it achieves tripartite co-construction among "school-school-enterprise," exports intelligent production line technical standards and solutions, deepens international cultural exchanges, and facilitates the internationalization process of Chinese vocational education.

5.Closed-Loop Teaching Model for Progressive Competence Enhancement. Adopting the four-step method of "demonstration-self-study-intensive explanation-practical operation": teachers first demonstrate system operation to stimulate interest and clarify goals; students then engage in autonomous learning; teachers provide intensive guidance on key and difficult points to break through skill bottlenecks; finally, students complete comprehensive system debugging. This forms a closed loop of "learning→practice→improvement," solidly cultivating students' vocational abilities and ensuring they possess core competencies to adapt to future technological development.

Due to limited time and capabilities of teachers, the course may inevitably have shortcomings, and we welcome critical feedback for improvement.
