The main contents of this course cover basic knowledge of diesel engines, structural components, fuel injection and combustion, gas exchange and supercharging, starting system, speed governing and other relevant modules. Through the study of this course, students can master the basic knowledge and theories of modern marine diesel engines, keep abreast of the latest technologies and development trends in this field, and acquire the ability to analyze, judge and eliminate typical faults of marine diesel engines.
