Through the study of this course, students will not only be able to identify common diseases and pests of crops, vegetables, fruit trees, and trees, but also master the knowledge and skills in pest diagnosis required for relevant positions in fields such as agriculture, forestry, horticulture, and landscape production. This course aims to lay a solid foundation for students' future career development, enabling them to proficiently identify the types of pests and diseases, investigate and analyze their occurrence and damage, and implement comprehensive prevention and control measures.

At the same time, the course also focuses on cultivating students' international perspectives, especially their capabilities in agricultural technology exchanges and cooperation with countries along the Belt and Road. Through systematic learning, students will possess the knowledge and skill reserves necessary to obtain corresponding skill certificates, contributing to their participation in international agricultural cooperation projects and the promotion of the development of green agriculture.
