本课程获评“校级示范课程”和“应用型专业”，拟申报四川省教育厅“一流本科课程”。
本课程已经在中国高校外语慕课平台上线，目前进行第二轮，包括我校学生在内的十余所高校、累计近700人参与了该课程的学习。该课程由经验丰富的“双师型”教师团队参与制作，运用多种媒体资源，立体化展示海外工程项目中翻译较多的主题，如招投标、项目各方关系概述、工程常见设备、工作原理、国际物流、财务报表等。凭借丰富的支撑材料构成逻辑清晰、相对完整的线上课程学习体系，既能作为自学者的线上慕课课程，又能成为混合式课程的线上支撑。
学生通过该课程的学习，能够用西班牙语习得工程领域的通用专业术语、基本格式、基本流程以及常见工程技术原理，能够独立利用各类工具与方法查找未知领域的新知识并解决实际工作中的翻译与管理问题，在该行业从事诸多项目管理工作，从而用语言+行业知识的“一人工作模式”取代之前的翻译+管理人员的“两人工作模式”，成为国家海外建设所需的复合型外语人才。
This course has been honored as "University-level Sample Course" and "Applied Major", and will be submitted to the Sichuan Provincial Education Department as "First-class Undergraduate Course".
The course has been launched on the platform Massive open online course of Chinese University in foreign languages, and the second round is now underway, with more than ten universities, and approximately 700 people participating in the course, including our students. The course is created by a team of experienced "two-teacher", who use a variety of media resources to present the topics such as bidding, overview of the relationship between project parties, common engineering equipment, working principles, international logistics, financial statements, and other topics that are often translated in overseas engineering projects. The course is logical, straightforward, and comprehensive, with a wealth of supporting materials. The online course learning system can be used as self-study material or as a supplement to blended courses.
Through this course, students will acquire common engineering terminology, fundamental forms, basic formats, and common engineering principles in Spanish. They may use a range of tools and approaches on their own to learn new things in unfamiliar fields, solve translation and management difficulties, and take part in a variety of project management jobs. They will be able to replace the previous "two-person work mode" of translator and manager with the "one-person work mode" of language + industry knowledge, allowing them to become the foreign language talents required for national overseas construction.
