China, the homeland of tea, is the first country to discover and utilize tea, and also the birthplace of world tea culture. Today, tea is cultivated in over 60 countries and regions and consumed by 3 billion people in more than 160 worldwide. As one of the three major global beverages, tea has spread across five continents and become an important part of world culture, exerting dynamic and profound influence on the lives and cultures of people all around. The course “Chinese Tea Culture” built upon rich history and deep-rooted heritage of Chinese tea culture aims to showcase Chinese tea art and disseminate excellent Chinese traditional culture to the world.

Chinese Tea Culture” is an integrated course that combines teaching, learning, and practicing. It integrates knowledge, skills, artistry and practicality, aligning with the professional competence requirements of Tea Artisans. The course follows a three-stage progressive approach of "Basic Knowledge---Skills Training---Practical Innovation" to enhance the abilities step by step. The learning contents are highly applicable, combining theoretical knowledge with tea art skills training. The course  emphasizes the cultivation of practical and innovative abilities and promoted the coordinated development of knowledge, abilities, and qualities. It aims to inspire interest to “Learn Tea History, Understand Tea Principles, Master Tea Artistry, Practice Tea Etiquette” , thus to better inherit and innovate Chinese tea culture and tea art. Additionally, the course meets the examination requirements for Junior, Intermediate, and Senior Certification for Tea Artisans, to satisfy the upgrading needs in the practical work of tea artisans and beverage mixologists.
