I am 76 years old, diagnosed two years ago. I very much appreciate that I had the opportunity to complete this course, which in some way confirmed what I have found coming to MS late! If however, I was 20 years younger, I would be making sure this course was on my agenda. It explains so well what can be expected from MS as we age from all points of view, from ageing generally with MS and Neurological ageing; managing work life and retirement; life expectancy, comorbidities, menopause, and if required, transitioning to a residential care facility. I thoroughly endorse this course and thankful that it is provided in such a clear and succinct way.

The most important thing I learned was how ageing impacts MS and the strategies to improve quality of life. This was crucial as it helped me understand long-term care needs. I’ve already applied this by improving daily habits like pacing activities and focusing on better sleep.

The best part of the course was the combination of science and practical advice, making complex information easy to apply.
