This online, state-mandated course per HB 2053 and Section 1701.402 of the Occupations Code, subsection (m) provides officers with the knowledge to determine the appropriate actions to take when encountering an individual listed on the Child Safety Check Alert List (CSCAL). Additionally, officers will review the necessary information to complete proper reporting requirements to the Department of Family and Protective Services and to the Texas Crime Information Center.nThis course meets Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) requirements Child Safety Check Alert List Course #4068.
