Overview

AFI's Inclusive Green Finance workstream is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI), which is supported by the German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU), based on a decision of the German Bundestag.

Syllabus

  • Identify the core concepts of climate change, climate resilience, climate adaptation, climate mitigation, Inclusive Green Finance (IGF) and financial inclusion and their links with Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Paris Agreement.
  • Explain the AFI’s 4Ps Framework of Inclusive Green Finance (IGF).
  • Classify policies into each of the 4Ps Framework of Inclusive Green Finance (IGF).
  • Identify the challenges linked to the 4Ps Framework of Inclusive Green Finance (IGF).
  • Evaluate the trends and considerations on Inclusive Green Finance (IGF) in relation to reducing the gender gap in access to financial services.
  • Acquire a comprehensive understanding of the core concepts and links between climate change, climate resilience, adaptation, mitigation, and IGF and financial inclusion.
