The Cisco CCNA Cybersecurity certification covers a wide range of topics, from incident response and SOC operations to intrusion analysis and threat hunting. In this course, we’ll be focusing on security operations management. To start, you’ll learn about various identity and access management topics - such as the identity and access life cycle, secure password management, and directory management. From there, we’ll take a look at log collection and analysis using security information and event management systems, also known as a SIEM. We’ll then dive into asset management strategies including mobile device management and we’ll look at what change management is and why it’s important for any organization. To wrap up the course, you’ll learn about different ways that vulnerabilities can be discovered and disclosed, where to find information about vulnerabilities, and what the analysis and remediation steps look like.
