The Cisco CCNA Cybersecurity certification covers a wide range of topics, from incident response and SOC operations to intrusion analysis and threat hunting. In this first course for the CyperOps Associate learning path, we’ll be taking a look at a brief introduction to some of these topics. To start, you'll learn about what cyber security is and why it’s important for organizations of any size. We’ll follow that up by looking at threats and vulnerabilities, and various systems that can be used to protect an organization from those threats; such as firewalls and intrusion prevention systems. In addition, we'll take a look at advanced malware protection and various options from Cisco to protect an organization’s assets; both on-premise and in the cloud. We’ll wrap everything up with a brief introduction to security operations centers and digital forensics.
