Physical and Health hazards are the two major classes of hazardous materials covered by the OHSA Communication Standard. This course discusses toxicity, dose, routes of exposure, and the major hazards that comprise the Health Hazards. Students will understand what comprises Health Hazards. Students will learn the five symbols used to denote health hazards. Students will understand the relationship between toxicity and dose. Students will review the major types of health hazards and routes of exposure.
