The course focus is on Hand Protection. Potential workplace hazards are detailed. Preventive measures are explored. Emphasis is placed on wearing and using Gloves, Housekeeping, and Hygiene, and Engineering Controls to aid in protecting the hands in the workplace. Students will be introduced to the importance of Hand Protection. Students will learn about potential hazards to hand protection and will gain an understanding of various protective measures that should be utilized. Protective measures such as the type and use of gloves, barrier creams, housekeeping, and hygiene will be covered in this course.
