  • Material Design and Transition FX
    • This module guides learners through the advanced creation of dynamic materials and transition effects in Unreal Engine, with a focus on holographic design, texture manipulation, post-processing transitions, and interactive UI elements. Students will explore Fresnel-based hologram styling, add and customize textures, create cinematic screen transitions, and master parameter-driven material changes. They will also implement navigation aids like a compass, use casting to interact with player blueprints, and design camera systems for object-focused gameplay. By the end of this module, learners will have the skills to create visually striking material effects and integrate them seamlessly into immersive game environments.
  • Character Indicators & Controllers
    • This module equips learners with the skills to design and implement interactive targeting systems, input handling, and advanced visual effects in Unreal Engine. Students will explore how to create dynamic enemy indicators, process array-based data for gameplay logic, and develop toggleable character interactions. They will also configure mouse input for camera control, apply cell shading techniques, convert gameplay data into material parameters, and fine-tune lighting bands and special materials for stylized visuals.
