Understanding the COSO Enterprise Risk Management Framework

This course provides new and developing internal audit professionals with a foundation in the COSO Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) Framework, which helps organizations integrate risk management with strategy and performance. Participants will explore the framework’s five components: Governance and Culture; Strategy and Objective-Setting; Performance; Review and Revision; and Information, Communication, and Reporting. They will develop an understanding of the principles that support these components and how the framework can be used to strengthen an organization’s approach to enterprise risk management.
