Delve into the psychological, emotional, and developmental dimensions of leadership, with a focus on authenticity, emotion regulation, responsible leadership, and the influence of gender and culture. This course highlights the interplay between individual traits, group dynamics, and broader social contexts. This course examines the internal and external factors that shape leadership effectiveness and development. Topics include authentic and responsible leadership, emotion regulation, psychoanalytic and process theories, gender and feminist critiques, communication, aesthetics, technology, and indigenous perspectives. Learners will gain insights into how leaders develop, navigate complex emotions, and respond to diverse cultural and organizational environments. Combining psychological theory with critical and cultural analysis, the course encourages learners to reflect on the personal and contextual factors that influence leadership. Through engaging content and structured assessments, participants will enhance their ability to analyze and apply leadership concepts in varied settings. This course is part two of a three-course Specialization designed to build a complete and cohesive understanding of the subject. While it offers valuable skills on its own, you'll gain the most benefit by progressing through all three courses as a structured learning journey.
