Learn how to move clients from corrective exercise into progressively demanding strength and performance training. This course focuses on readiness, loading decisions, regression and progression ladders, and the preservation of movement quality as challenge increases. You will apply these ideas to squat, hinge, deadlift, bench press, pull, overhead press, and single-leg patterns before exploring compound integration, advanced control, landing mechanics, and reactive exercise. Rather than treating progression as a fixed exercise list, the course teaches you to adjust range, leverage, support, tempo, volume, resistance, complexity, and speed according to the client’s response. You will practice identifying meaningful readiness criteria, choosing the smallest effective progression, and distinguishing expected training effort from signs that require modification or referral. By the end of the course, you will be able to create a Progressive Loading and Return-to-Training Blueprint that connects current capacity, target activity, exercise ladders, monitoring criteria, and reassessment checkpoints.

Syllabus

  • Module 1: Readiness for Loading
    • Determine when corrective work is ready to progress and establish response-based criteria for introducing greater training demand.
  • Module 2: Strength Entry Points and Squat Progressions
    • Choose accessible strength entry points and progress squat patterns through support, range, load, and complexity based on performance evidence.
  • Module 3: Hinge, Push, and Pull Progressions
    • Build evidence-based progression ladders for hinge, deadlift, bench press, and vertical pulling patterns while preserving technique and relevant capacity.
  • Module 4: Unilateral and Integrated Strength
    • Extend foundational strength into overhead, single-leg, compound, and advanced integrated tasks that require greater coordination and whole-body control.
  • Module 5: Power, Reactive Readiness, and Program Design
    • Assess readiness for faster force production, progress landing and reactive tasks, and integrate all course decisions into a return-to-training blueprint.
  • Module 6: Course Summary
    • Consolidate the complete corrective-to-performance pathway and audit the final blueprint for readiness logic, progression quality, and scope-aware decision-making.
