Performance Domains

In this course, you will cover the performance domains. You will begin by defining the development approaches and life cycles, including predictive, adaptive, and hybrid approaches. You will explore the issues in selecting an appropriate approach. You will delve into the planning performance domain, focusing on important topics like progressive elaboration and rolling wave planning. You will examine the stakeholder performance domain, learning about the types of stakeholders and tools to identify them, as well as communication models. Next, you will explore the team performance domain, where a key skill is creating high-performing teams. You will learn about the roles of different team members, including the sponsor, the executive sponsor, the scrum master, and the product owner. You will discover how to run effective meetings and methods for obtaining consensus. You will also cover the important topic of applying the project management code of ethics, emphasizing responsibility, respect, fairness, and honesty. In the work domain, you will get an overview of processes in groups and knowledge management. In the delivery domain, you will learn about the definition of quality and related concepts such as quality versus grade, the cost of quality, and quality control tools. You will discuss initiating the project and developing the charter. Finally, you will explore tailoring the project, the steps involved, how to tailor processes, and some examples of tailoring.
