This module introduces the fundamentals of project management and the CAPM® framework. You will understand what defines a project, explore process groups, knowledge areas, and process tailoring, and see how the 49 processes connect across the project lifecycle.

Project Management Essentials

In this module, you will explore the key principles and processes that ensure project success. Topics include project management principles and performance domains, the PMI Code of Ethics, project lifecycles, scope definition, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), scope baseline, scheduling fundamentals, and network diagrams—equipping you with the skills to plan, organize, and track projects effectively.

Leadership, Roles and Core Management Skills

This module explores the leadership and management aspects of project success. It examines the roles and responsibilities of the Project Sponsor, Program Manager, Project Manager, and Project Team, emphasizing how collaboration drives results. You will understand the balance between leadership and management, apply emotional intelligence, and develop skills for team building, resource management, product planning, and effective meetings to solve common project challenges.
