  • Building Linux Servers: Unit 3
    • In this module, you will explore the fundamentals of the Domain Name System (DNS) and its critical role in network communication. You will learn how DNS translates domain names into IP addresses, a process essential for both internet and local network operations. The module will guide you through preparing your system to function as a DNS server, including the installation and configuration of DNS services on a Linux server. Additionally, you will work with Dynamic DNS (DDNS) and examine its integration with DHCP servers to enable automatic updates of DNS records. By the end of this module, you will have a practical understanding of DNS administration and its application in professional environments.
