Whether you're looking to integrate dynamic charts or extend Swift's built-in UI components, this course offers a hands-on, practical approach. By the end of the course, you will be able to design and implement advanced UI components, create various interactive charts, manage dynamic data, and build intuitive, visually appealing applications using SwiftUI.

Syllabus

  • Create a Color Extension Based on an HTML Page
    • In this module, we will explore how to create a SwiftUI color extension by converting HTML color codes into usable Swift color values. You will learn to extract color data from HTML strings and enhance your Color struct with additional functionality to generate and test dynamic colors.
  • Exploring Charts
    • In this module, we will dive deep into SwiftUI's charting capabilities. We will explore how to build various charts such as bar, line, and area charts, integrating customization options like legends, annotations, and dynamic color features. You'll also learn essential techniques for improving chart interactivity and refining your code for better maintainability.
  • Activity Tracker - Pie Charts and Donut Charts With Swift Data
    • In this module, we will focus on building a fully functional activity tracker that includes pie and donut charts. You'll learn to integrate dynamic UI elements, manage data input, and visualize activity trends using charts. The module also covers how to enhance user interactivity with custom controls like sliders, buttons, and color adjustments.
  • Charts Continued - Line Plots
    • In this module, we will dive into advanced line plotting techniques. You'll learn to create dynamic line plots from random data points, explore Lissajous curves and their parametric equations, and visualize mathematical functions like cosine and its Taylor polynomial. Additionally, we’ll introduce interactive features to control the graph's appearance in real-time.
  • MapKit Fundamentals
    • In this module, we will focus on MapKit to help you build interactive, customized map applications. You'll learn how to use various features like markers, polyline customization, and drag gestures. We'll also explore map interaction modes and the Look Around feature, allowing you to create more engaging and dynamic map views with custom controls.
