Syllabus

  • Create a Color Extension Based on an HTML Page
    • In this module, we will explore how to programmatically extract color codes from HTML and use them to create a custom color extension in Swift. You'll learn how to convert hex codes to RGB values, generate Swift code for color extensions, and extend the UIColor class. By the end of this section, you will be able to enhance your iOS projects with custom, dynamic color functionality.
  • Exploring Charts
    • In this module, we will dive into the process of creating interactive charts using the SciChart library and SwiftUI. From bar charts to line and area charts, you'll learn how to customize chart layouts, colors, and data representations. We'll explore essential techniques such as adding annotations, implementing draggable rule marks, and optimizing code with reusable components to enhance your chart-building experience.
  • Alarm App
    • In this module, we will guide you through the entire process of building a fully functional Alarm app using SwiftUI. From setting up your project structure and designing a custom splash screen to implementing alarm models, notifications, and sound management, this section covers everything you need. You will also explore advanced features like local push notifications, circular alarm views, and adding multiple language support, ensuring your app is both powerful and user-friendly.
  • Conway's Game of Life
    • In this module, we will guide you through creating Conway’s Game of Life app from scratch. You will learn to set up the board and control views, implement the rules of the game, and animate the evolution of the board based on the cellular automaton rules. The app will allow users to start, pause, and control the speed of the simulation, while providing an interactive and visually appealing interface. Additionally, you'll explore creating reusable components and custom UI elements to enhance the app’s functionality and aesthetics.
  • Body Shape UI Challenge
    • In this module, we will guide you through the process of creating a comprehensive Body Shape UI for a fitness app using SwiftUI. From designing the welcome screen to implementing custom views like progress bars, heart rate displays, and workout calendars, you will learn how to create a seamless, interactive experience. You'll also incorporate animations and design principles to ensure the app is both functional and visually engaging. By the end of this challenge, you’ll have a polished fitness tracking app ready for users to input their body measurements, set goals, and track their progress.
